Booking Policy

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, we must enforce strict booking terms.

If you turn up for your appointment and you do not comply with these terms, you may be refused service and you may not be entitled to a refund. Please read our booking terms carefully before booking.

Appointment bookings

  • We reserve the right to amend your online booking to match the services provided in the salon. In some instances, we may contact you about your booking.
  • Appointment made online may need to be slightly amended to fit in with salon time slots and stylists commitments. Please ensure that we have a current contact phone number for you (preferably a mobile!)
  • For our senior guests (of state pension age) we offer “off-peak” rates Tuesday & Friday. To qualify, you need to be of an age to collect your UK state pension. You’re welcome to book appointments for other days, however, the full price will apply.
  • Clients will be charged for the services received, which may differ from the services you selected at the time of making your appointment.
  • Prices do not include any promotions, offers or discounts that you may be entitled to. 
  • If you are unable to find the availability that you are looking for when booking online, give us a ring and our reception team will do their very best to find an appointment to suit your needs! 

Bookings for colour services

Clients who have not had a colour service before at our salon, or have not had a colour service for over six months must call the salon on 01706 217129 and arrange for a skin allergy test and consultation. Tests are available by appointment and are free. Failure to have a skin test will result in us being unable to carry out your colour service.

Allergy tests must take place no later than 48 hours before a colour service appointment.

When you book a colour service appointment we ask for a booking fee of 50% of the total service price if:

  • you are a new client,
  • not had a colour service at our salon within the last six months, or
  • you have a history of last-minute cancellation or failing to turn up.

The booking fee will be used as part payment towards your service and is fully refundable should you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment.

Colour corrections and transformations

Sometimes changing your colour is easy, other times it’s more complicated. We recommend that you contact the salon for a consultation before making your booking.

Special Occasions

Bridal Hair and hair for special occassions should be booked through the salon reception team who can advise on the best stylist to meet your requirements.

Appointment cancellations

Your appointments are important to us. We reserved our time especially for you and, whilst we understand that sometimes changes are necessary, we respectfully ask that you let us know at least 48 hours in advance.

If we don’t receive 48 hours’ notice to cancel your appointment then we may miss the opportunity to fill the space and guests on our waiting list miss the chance to come and see us. In these circumstances, unfortunately, your booking fee becomes non-refundable.

Regrettably, we have put these measures in place because of the number of last-minute cancellations and no-shows and clients waiting for an appointment with us.

When the salon is closed you can leave a voice message on 01706 217129 if you have to cancel.

Coronavirus health & safety

  • It is mandatory for all clients over the age of 11 to wear a face-covering in the salon & barbershop.
  • Please come to your appointment on your own. We will not be able to accommodate any children/friends etc. unless they also have an appointment. Carers/guardians are of course welcome and must also adhere to these guidelines. We can only allow 1 adult per 2 children unless there’s genuine care need when using the sensory room for us to carry out the services you have booked.
  • Please do not arrive until your appointment time as we will have no waiting seating available. You may be required to wait outside even if you are on time so please be prepared. If you are late we may have to regrettably refuse your appointment.
  • Please be very honest with us if you feel unwell or if you have been in contact with anyone who has been unwell with any similar symptoms to COVID-19. If this is the case please do not visit the salon and inform us as soon as possible.
  • Regrettably, we are unable to accept bookings for children who when accompanied by a parent or carer, are unable to understand and adhere to our health and safety measures. This decision of the child’s ability to adhere to our guidelines will be that of the parent/guardian, however, a stylist may also refuse a booking for a child e.g. a new client whom we have no experience, or pause the service at any point if they do not feel safe.
