Our salon

We have been open for 51 years and have a vast mix of lovely and loyal customers who come to us for our expertise, our friendship and the knowledge of the care and attention we provide.

We’d like to find colleagues who aim to be more than just great hairdressers or barbers, we want you to make our clientele feel part of the family, and your ideas to contribute to the continued growth of our salon.

The positions


You’ll have a key role in the salon, taking the lead for our barbering services and training for apprentices working alongside a team of dedicated and talented experienced barbers and stylists.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • in-salon experience
  • NVQ level 3 hairdressing/barbering
  • experienced in cutting, clipper work, scissor work, skin fades, hair designs, cutthroat blades, wet shaves
  • interested in learning and developing technical colouring skills for gents.
  • great customer service skills
  • have the ability to reccommend hair care products
  • demonstrate strong communication and consultative skills
  • have a strong and reliable work ethic
  • be supportive of the personal development of apprentices/junior stylists

Children’s Stylist (part-time)

Alongside our ladies salon and gents barbers, we operate a children’s salon offering high-quality haircuts in a stress-free environment for children & parents.


Our youngest clients come from far and wide and many of our little customers grow to know and love ‘their’ special hairdresser who they come back to again and again.


We can offer a flexible work schedule available on a part-time basis (this would include Saturdays).


If your a confident stylist and colourist and able to work independently, we want you to join our team.


The ideal candidate will:

  • be competent and qualified in all aspects of Hairdressing to NVQ level 3
  • possess in-salon experience
  • great customer service skills
  • have the ability to sell hair care products
  • demonstrate strong communication and consultative skills
  • have a strong and reliable work ethic

Ideally, you will have a good few years of experience but must excel with colour expertise.

All enquires will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Hours: part-time 25 – 30hrs  (include Saturdays) or full time 40hrs.

The salons standard opening days are Tuesdays to Saturday, with late opening on Thursday evenings.


Location: Rawtenstall, Lancashire


Contract status: Employed (we are unable to offer positions on a self-employed chair rental basis)
