We’re looking to grow our hairdressing team

We have been open for 51 years and have a vast mix of lovely and loyal customers who come to us for our expertise, our friendship and the care and attention we provide.

We’ll give you a great place to work and a friendly team to work alongside, a working environment where you can feel part of the family and the opportunity to contribute to the continued sucess of our salon.

The position

We are seeking an apprentice hairdresser to join our team.

Becoming an apprentice hair stylist is a full-time job with training, giving you the chance to earn while you learn, gaining real work experience as well as the skills, knowledge and behaviours to work in the industry.

You will work a minimum of 30 hours a week in the salon for a duration of approximately 24 months whilst being mentored through an in-house training programme. Plus you’ll spend 1 day a week training with a professional hair academy.

Responsibilities will begin with shampooing, customer care, reception duties, making refreshments and cleaning. As your ability grows you’ll assist the stylists with colouring, perming and drying hair and work in our training salon to gain practical experience.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for styling hair who is willing to learn and determined to progress in a career in hairdressing.

The position does not require experience, although good communication and the ability to interact well with people are essential. Trainee hairdressers partway through their qualifications are also welcome to apply.
